TORONTO, Aug. 15, 2018 /CNW/ – Trez Capital Senior Mortgage Investment Corporation (TSX: TZS) (the “Company”) announced today that Mr. Clint Matthews, MAcc, CPA, CA, has been appointed Chief Financial Officer of the Company, in place of Mr. Alexander Manson. Mr. Manson will remain the Chief Executive Officer of the Company.
Mr. Matthews is the Vice President, Finance of Trez Capital Fund Management Limited Partnership (“Trez Capital”), the manager and portfolio adviser to the Company. He manages financial operations and reporting responsibilities for all Trez Capital investment funds and joined the Company in 2015, bringing over 30 years of financial services experience. Previously, he served as finance leader and Chief Financial Officer of prominent asset managers and investment dealers in Toronto and Vancouver.
About the Company
On June 16, 2016 the Shareholders of the Company approved the orderly wind-up of the Company. Under the orderly wind-up plan the Company will distribute the net proceeds through special distributions, the repurchase of shares pursuant to the normal course issuer bid, or otherwise.
