MONTRÃAL, Nov. 2, 2017 /CNW Telbec/ – BTB Real Estate Investment Trust (TSX: BTB.UN) (“BTB” or the “Trust“) is pleased to announce the acquisition of a retail power center known as the «Carrefour Saint-Romuald» in Lévis, Québec. This $35.9 million transaction, excluding transaction fees, brings to 71 the number of properties owned by the Trust. This accretive acquisition is in line with BTB’s strategic review where it is selling its smaller properties while purchasing larger properties maximizing financial performance.

Next to a Costco wholesale store, this retail power center has an approximate total leasable area of 121,000 square feet and is entirely leased. It houses well-known national retailers such as Archambault, Avril, Michaels, Bulk Barn, Mondou and Latulippe, to name a few.
