TORONTO, May 13, 2021 /CNW/ – (TSX: CAR.UN) â Canadian Apartment Properties Real Estate Investment Trust (“CAPREIT”) announced today that it has filed a (final) base shelf prospectus with the securities regulatory authorities in each of the provinces and territories of Canada. The base shelf prospectus is valid for a 25-month period, during which CAPREIT may offer debt securities, subscription receipts and units, or any combination thereof, having an aggregate offering price of up to $2 billion. Any issue of securities under the base shelf prospectus will require the filing of a prospectus supplement that will include specific terms of the securities being offered.
